Volunteer
Since 1894, the Sewickley Valley YMCA has been bringing neighbors together to learn, grow and thrive, and we’d love your help. Got a spare hour, a big heart or a hidden talent? We’ve got a spot for you.
Volunteering at the Y is part good deed, part good time. You’ll meet great people, try something new and see the difference you make up close. Bring the whole family—many roles welcome young helpers.

Ready to Jump In?
Tell us what you love to do and when you’re free, and we’ll match you with a role you’ll look forward to. Submit a volunteer inquiry here to get started.
All volunteers complete a screening process, which may take one to two weeks, to help keep the Y safe and welcoming for everyone.
Together we can build a better us.
Since 1894, the Sewickley Valley YMCA has served our community with a focus on service, growth and lasting impact. Today, the Y serves more than 16,000 neighbors each year across the Ambridge Area, Cornell, Moon Area and Quaker Valley school districts.
